Well drained sandy soils. Adapts to most dry soils. Plant in a sunny or light shade spot, loosen the dirt, its tap root going to go deep. Likes wet, sandy, well drained soil, grows best in neutral and slightly or very acidic soil. Once established, should be watered occasionally, draught tolerant due to long tap root. Can be grown in pots, but needs proper lighting. Do not need fertilizer.
